EL PRECIO COMPETITIVO DEL MAÍZ PRESIONA A LA BAJA AL RESTO DE CEREALES<\/font><\/u><\/b><\/div>\n

En la sesión de la lonja de León celebrada hoy en Santa María del Páramo el maíz repitió cotización a 168 euros\/tonelada, precio muy competitivo en comparación con el resto de cereales, ya que los consumidores finales de estos productos (industrias de biodiesel y fábricas de piensos) están incrementando el uso de maíz en detrimento sobre todo de trigo y cebada.<\/div>\n
El maíz es un cereal que aporta mayor valor proteico, más almidones y es más digestible lo cual redunda en menos problemas intestinales que el resto de cereales, además las granjas de pollos y gallinas ponedoras lo prefieren porque colorea las canales y las yemas de los huevos haciendo que el producto final sea de mayor calidad y más atractivo para el consumidor. En cuanto a su uso para la elaboración de biodiesel es más rentable ya que por kilo se obtiene más alcohol y etanol que con otros cereales. <\/div>\n
El trigo ha pasado de 183€\/t a 182 €\/t, la cebada de  162 €\/t a 159 €\/t y repiten centeno y avena a 150€\/t.<\/div>\n
